    Customise Your Garments with The Thread Studio – Embroidery & Printing

    At The Thread Studio, we offer two high-quality methods for customising your garments: embroidery and printing. However, not all products are suitable for every type of customisation, so we will guide you on the best method for your specific order to ensure the highest quality results.

    Embroidery
    We specialise in premium embroidery services to help your brand stand out. Our team provides a full design service to assist with creating and digitising your artwork, ensuring it is ready for production.

    Printing
    There are several printing techniques available for garments, and we will always recommend the most suitable method for your product and budget.

    Artwork Setup / Digitisation
    Both embroidery and printing require artwork to be converted into specific digital formats. The initial artwork setup cost is £20 + VAT per logo or design. This is a one-off fee, as we save all artwork files for future repeat orders with the same design.

    Delivery Costs

    Decorated garments with embroidery or printing are typically delivered within 7-10 working days after artwork approval. Standard delivery costs £8.95, and items are delivered Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm. Click & Collect is free, with collection available within 10 working days from our Southampton location. Need it faster? Call us on 02380 454513 to discuss express options. Special delivery requests, such as Saturday or timed deliveries, can be arranged for an additional charge. For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Ireland, or other non-mainland UK locations, please contact our sales team for further details.

  • How to Place Your Order

    How to Order Your Custom Hoodie or Sweatshirt:

    1. Choose Your Items: Ensure you select the correct size and colour, as these may vary between brands.
    2. Select Your Customisation: Choose between embroidery or print. You can skip this step if you prefer unbranded clothing.
    3. Checkout: Double-check your contact details and include your email and phone number for communication.
    4. Design & Visuals: After checkout, we'll contact you to discuss your customisation needs and offer advice. (Please note: additional costs may apply based on design complexity and the number of decorations.)
    5. Artwork Digitisation & Approval: We will digitise your design and send you a final proof for approval before production.
    6. Production & Delivery: Once approved, your items will be customised to the highest standard, with delivery in 7-10 days. Shipping typically takes 1-2 days after order completion.
