HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?
Once your quote and visual are confirmed and payment is received, production usually takes about 2 weeks, dependant on stock availability. Faster turnarounds are available; please ask.
New Digitised embroidery logos take approx. 2-4 days to set up and sample before production.
DO YOU SEND A PROOF OF THE LOGO?
All orders (except for repeats) will have pdf visual emailed to show the logo and the placement on the garment. This is for approx. placement and guidelines only. Due to the nature of the branding, the clothing will often dictate where the logos can be placed, especially on jackets where seams and pockets get in the way. For the basic clothing such as polo shirts and sweatshirts, this is not a problem. Over the years, this proofing method has helped orders run smoothly as customers are able to see how the logo will look on the finished product.
All new embroidery files are sampled onto fabric, and a photo is sent via email for confirmation, we are happy to make any adjustments before the order is started.
Screen Printing & Vinyl cut branding is all proofed via a pdf visual. Due to the cost involved in producing a screen, it is not viable to create the screen and print a sample. Sizes of logos will all be confirmed on the visual along with colour references.
CAN YOU MATCH PANTONE COLOURS?
We can match as close as possible in both threads for embroidery inks for printing.
With cut vinyl’s we are limited to a set colour pallet. Please ask, and we can email a colour swatch.
DO PRICES INCLUDE VAT?
All prices on the site are excluding VAT, and the branding cost are also extra. Your quote will show the branding costs and the VAT to show the total amount.
HOW DO I PAY?
We take all major cards on the site and over the phone using a secure online virtual terminal. We also have the option to pay using a link in our quotes. Additionally, you are able to pay via a direct bank transfer which is our preference. We are able to take cash but no cheques please.
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER?
The Thread Studio have a min order number of 10 items. The 10 items can be a mix and match of different garments, sizes and colours. Carriage & setups are charged extra depending on the value of the order or Bundle deals.
CAN I GET A SAMPLE TO TRY FOR SIZE? WHAT IF MY GARMENT DOESN'T FIT?
Yes we can send a sample. All samples are sent out with an invoice copy; if the items are not returned in perfect condition with all packing materials, we will issue the invoice for payment.
Each product in the catalogue comes with a sizes guide, the sizes are usually in inches and relate to S, M, L, XL etc.…
Please check carefully that you order correctly as The Thread Studio does not accept liability for the goods which do not fit and these garments cannot be returned once they have had logos and branding added.
CAN I SUPPLY MY OWN CLOTHING?
The Thread Studio do brand-customer supplied clothing – please ask for a quote as this is dependent on what the garments are and the branding required. These items are charged at a higher rate due to the risk taken by The Thread Studio in branding these garments. Prices are found here
CAN I ORDER MORE THAN ONE STYLE OF GARMENT?
We have a huge range of garments and promotional items that we source from our suppliers. All of which can be branded to promote you, your business or event. If you want to mix and match items, let us know, and we will work with you to get it right.
I ALREADY HAVE AN EMBROIDERY FILE, CAN YOU USE IT?
We can, as long as it is an EMB or DST format, it is often best to email over a photo of the embroidery on a garment to help match colours. If you cannot supply the thread references and/or the running sheet for the machine file. We will run out a sample and email it to you before production. We use Madeira Embroidery thread for our logos, this is the best on the market.
WHAT FORMAT DO YOU NEED MY LOGO?
We accept artwork in the following format:
Vector (.ai, .eps, .pdf ) this is the preferred format. Please go to our Artwork guidelines page.
Jpeg (.jpg) min resolution is 300dpi or higher for transfer printing.
Website artwork is not suitable as the resolution is too low. Alternatively you can send printed artwork such as a letterhead or business card which we can scan or send on CD. If artwork is needed for your logo to be vectorized or you need a new logo designed, we can offer this service at an extra charge.
To produce designs for Vinyl and Screen printing, the artwork will need to be vectored only.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE TO ORDER?
Once you have chosen your items, please check the sizes you need. Each item has a description and size information.
The chest sizes are ‘to fit’ for instance if you were measure 40” around your chest you need to order the size related to it, this is not the actual garment measurement.
If you are unsure, it’s best to ask or order a sample for sizing.
CAN I ORDER BLANK UN-DECORATED GARMENTS?
The Thread Studio allows you to order unbranded clothing online. This will take approx. 3-4 days to arrive dependent on stock availability. If the item is not in stock, you will be notified of any shortages and an expected delivery date for new stock.

If you do not see what you are looking for, please ask as there is always a way to source what you are looking for.
WHAT DOES DELIVERY COST?
Standard delivery is £9.95 per box.
Larger orders will be quoted at the time of order.
Small orders such as samples are usually sent via Royal Mail.
Our couriers as DHL & UPS and TNT which are all trackable. We don't use Evri or Yodel
HOW SHOULD I WASH MY GARMENT?
To help keep your garments in top condition always wash at 40 degrees or below. We don’t advise washing at high temperatures. Always wash inside out. The garment care label is for the garment only. Our branding guidelines sometimes differ. Never iron onto a print from the front. Always iron inside out. Don’t tumble dry your items; this can affect the print. Embroidery can be ironed on the front.
